Getting here and away
The World Heritage Bus stop is at the Shirakawa-go bus terminal beside the Ogimachi village. Buses return via Suganuma and Ainokura-guchi (Gokayama) to Johana, Shin-Takaoka and Takaoka, about 2 hours 10 to Takaoka.
Buses to Takayama and Kanazawa leave from the same terminal but are run by other companies that do not publish open positions, so they are not on this board. The last bus back is on this board; leave the village with time to spare.
