Getting here and away
Ainokura-guchi is the stop for the Ainokura gassho village, a short walk uphill; Suganuma is beside the Suganuma village. The World Heritage Bus runs both ways: on to Shirakawa-go (about 35 to 50 minutes) or back to Johana, Shin-Takaoka and Takaoka.
Services are few, so the last bus in each direction is on this board; plan the return before you walk into the village.
